Tbh if this is standard countermeasure from ff i start fearing to buy crowns and think twice/triple about my next crown purchase. I feel sorry for you and others.

I don't feel sorry for them - the ToS quite plainly states that exploiting bugs in the game is not on.
All in all this is a good thing and eliminates some of the cheaters.

Yup...it's in under the Terms and conditions.
I would also like to think that FF will now look further into the use of alt accounts, account sharing and the use of bots because, under their Game Rules, the following apply:
1. Players accounts use
Players may not have more than one account per game world.
2. No account sharing
Players may not share accounts with each other
10. Bots
Players may not use any form of bot, 3rd party tool or script tool for Stronghold Kingdoms. We ask players to inform Firefly Support of any tools they discover that may allow players to cheat.
