Forest village banquet exploit

Many of the top players on Europe 8 are using the forest village banquet exploit, this has been reported before and in the game for a while... and it now seems players are becoming more aware of it and using this bug.

Just look at the top 20 players, almost all of them are only running forests and are rank top 20...

Why is there no update or a patch to fix this, why is there no repercussions for these players who are cheating? I'm not talking about a 3 day ban, this is a massive bug and players should be permanently banned for exploiting this.

Why should I keep playing the game and spend money on crowns to play with cheaters? Is this now okay to do?
