Pitch/Oil Pots Glitch

I am working on my Pitchmonsters, and when I am placing pitch in the Castle, it stops when I have 107 Oil Pots remaining.
When I try to place more, the Oil Pots change color to blue (same as when you run out of troops to place in the castle, even though I have plenty of Pitch and as mentioned, plenty of Smelters);
Does anybody know what's up?
