Game starts up with no interface buttons, only map.

Game starts up with no interface buttons, only map.

When I start up the game the map screen is there and I can pan around and zoom in but there are no interface buttons. I uninstalled and re installed which solves the problem for a short while but then it does it again. Any suggestions?
