Tournament ranking

The current tournament Looting Lunacy seems to have different ranking systems on different worlds
On Welt 2, player with the same amount of looted packages do not share the same rank.
On Welt 3, player with the same amount of looted packages share the same rank.

Because of that only 2 people can get the platinum prize on Welt 2 and theoretically an infinite amount of players can win the platinum prize on Welt 3.

This doesn't seem to be fair and doesn't even make any sense.
