Europe 7: Lost spice

I logged on this morning and my spice village has ZERO Spice. All my spice was stolen and my docks are not producing. I see no workers on my docks. (update: 20 minutes after trying to solve issue, workers are now appearing) BUT where did all my spice go?

I had 2000+ spice when I logged off last night (I am always overstocked because I don't spend enough time transferring). I was attacked only by AI (2 times: Enemy and Wolf) but defeated both.

I turned all spice docks off and on. Still not producing.
Turned All industries off and on, still no production.

Popularity is and has been green and plenty of peasants, etc.
