hey mate, i dont have the exact figures on how the food works, been playing for 2 years and it is still a mystery to me in some ways.

I would suggest focusing on the specific productions (like your apple upgrade for 400%) before the others only because it is more effective. Eventually (about 1 year) you will have all the research anyway

for reference, on W6 i have max food research and a lvl 8 apple guild (+110%) and i make 16,185 when my apple farm is as close as possible to the granary

and on the AI world i have 3110 apple production with lvl4 apple (+100%), lvl 1 plough (+5%), no guild
