Re: army hit points
i think the HP of your troops is counted in seconds..IE the higher you researched them the longer they survive..iam not sure about the time of each type though
lead a house they said, glory and fame awaits..burning eyes and headaches from reading tons of mail is what i got.exec_killfun1.0

Re: army hit points
Due to the excessive number of factors that can affect troops hit points, we do not include this information in the wiki.

Is ten guild levels for capital armies and ten research levels for player armies excessive?CaptSkubba wrote:Due to the excessive number of factors that can affect troops hit points, we do not include this information in the wiki.
It's 47 data entries to cover the health of each unit in the game at all tech levels (48 if you add wolves)
And it's 17 entries for the damage amounts at all tech levels (18 to include wolves)
To be honest not making these figures publicly available can make the player base doubt the accurracy of the bonuses that can apply and question the value of their effort/research/trade goods used to increase the unit.

Re: army hit points
Since the upgrades for them are a flat 10(x)% couldn't we still have base values? It isn't very difficult to figure out the rest. Even the two values of base/fully upgraded would be helpful
They tried to excom 5 people
A sane person wouldn't do maintenance on 30 villages and continue to call it fun. W6, now farmville for all.

Re: army hit points
it is ridiculous not having this info available.
how is a new player expected to make an informed decision about the units ?
are pikes the same defensively as a swordsman, or does the swordsman have extra hp ?
to not know the answer to this basic question, especially when there are such limited troop types, is completely frustrating.
attack value, armor class, and hp should all be made known.
In MMO's there is a 'slider' used to balance gameplay. Players understand this and adapt their games to suit. However the basic details of the various units appears to be a secret in SHK.

Re: army hit points
Pikes have more defense than swords, but less attack. That's all. An experienced player knows which troops to use based on experience, if you build that experience up you'll be good.

Re: army hit points
1. Pikes having more defense than swords, is far from being unilaterally accepted as fact by experienced players. It is accepted as being economically sound to use them in most situations in preference to swords. This is not quite the same thing.
2. 'Experienced players know which troops to use' Are you espousing trial and error as a sensible gaming method ? Do you live your real life like this ?
your comments only highlight the fact SHK needs to stop messing new players about, and tell them the exact numbers.

Re: army hit points
Why would you think this is done to mess about new players? No player either Veteran or new has had these figures and based on what CaptSkubba has said, it's unlikely they ever will.
