Merchants,merchants,and more merchants. Did I mention merchants yet? Oh, yes I did.

I ONLY get gold through merchants and trade. I dont run any taxes in my villages

Build many merchant guilds in your village and research for 5 merchants per guild. Build up your stockpiles then take a few hours to sell it off once every 2 weeks

Keep in mind I am crown prince with 16 villages, but when I trade I convert troops to merchants 30-40 per village . I use advanced traders (game card) and advanced merchants (game card) together. In 3 hours I can make 1.5 million gold on average (with 16 villages and 30-40 merchants per village)

I realize you are a new player and do not have those resources. However, if its gold you want........Research merchants and all that goes with it

If you decide to buy game cards. You can get some gold (game cards) from the 'Random card packs' . Also you can trade in unwanted game cards for points, in turn spending those game card points on a pre-selected card list (some of which are gold cards)

In conclusion, merchants are the best way to make gold in SHK's

Then why is it family members cannot trade with each other or vote for one another in a Parish if they wanted if living in the same house? Seems a bit gimped.

I urge you to train merchants, build decent amounts of food and start trading extra food to your parish.

I am new too, but right away i caught onto the food trading and or iron trading early on.

It builds up enough cash to start into your training specs.
