Messages not syncing between Android and PC?

Hello, I recently downloaded the mobile app for my Samsung Galaxy S5 and I have noticed that messages that I open in the mobile client are not syncing to the PC client. This means that if I open a new thread on the app, I won't be able to see it on PC. Is there any way to fix this issue?
