Back with later news. The friend that was locked out is also on XP. But a temporary test on a Win10 machine was fine. So it appears to be XP incompatibilty. I also noticed that a new machine install seems to want either facebook or goggle+ to even do the download. One of my systems (W10) was flashing malware / virus alerts when running SHK last night. No time yet to trace what the cause was.
