Hi,i notice my graphics on Stronghold Kingdoms are starting to flicker since i downloaded the latest Nvidia driver.

Isn't there ANY way besides downgrading my driver, when Diablo 3 will come out i won't change drivers just to play 2 differant games, especialy if D3 is coming out.

Same problem with newest driver. Sorry, submitted a ticket before I noticed this thread. :/

Thankfully I have a laptop as backup, but it's really inconvenient.

Just upgraded my drivers to play Diablo 3 and Game of Thrones and now I am getting the same flickering as the above posters...

Any progress on this issue?

I'm having this problem, too. Still haven't been able to play because of it.
Thought I'd pop in to confirm that the new nvidia driver that came out a few days ago (301.42) doesn't solve the problem. Town and map screens still flicker like crazy.
I guess we're still waiting for a fix.

I've just installed Kingdoms and have the mad flickering problem. I take it that this game is essentially out of support then. :?

I was looking forward to playing this game for a bit. But I've got other games installed on my computer and drivers from 2011 are really not that great if you want to play any newer games as well.

So, I guess I'll un-install this game again. I was actually prepared to pay some cash to get going quicker. Oh well, your loss. Have fun.

Edit: Haha, this is fun. Someone else's post about using their laptop made me remember I also have one. So I thought, how about I try that then. Turns out I get the "There is a problem with DirectX" error on my laptop. Amazing how buggy this is. After an unintsall and re-install I'm getting all sorts of errors. I guess if I had a third computer I'd get a third, different, error!

Edit: Woah. Even while uninstalling I get errors now. Jeez. This stuff is dangerous. While installing on my laptop I even got a BSoD.

I love the admin post blaming this on "old Intel chipsets". A GeForce 8800 GT is about as mainstream as you're going to find anywhere. The root cause here is an attitude failure. Sort yourselves out.

If you are all still having graphical issues then put in tickets to support so they are aware how many players still have this problem. That way they have it on file and can cross check.

Be specific and include screen shots if you can.

B.t.w. that flicker problem can be reproduced using vmware with installed winxp when card or logout window opened.
