Monking a sheriffship/Governorship

Monking a sheriffship/Governorship

Hey guys so I have a question regarding influencing a sheriffship and or governorship; whenever I goto monk it, it says “All Monk Abilities Locked” why is this? I’m on a brand new world and I meet requirements to claim the positions.

I think that the ability to monk a county seat doesn't unlock until the 3rd age ( Era ).

If you want to take the sheriff seat then you will have to use monks to influence the current sheriffs parishes and/or raze or capture that sheriffs villages.
