How can i raze a village?

I am very lost! i can attack a village cith vandalism ,ranksack ,pillage ,i can take over the village and the gold raid one is posible if i have a parish.. but there is another one.. that i don't have opened.. how can i unlok it? i am rank 18 (viscount) , do i need to rank up more? or do i need to research something?

The answer depends on if you are playing an Age rules world or an Era rules world.

On an Age rules world, you must achieve the rank of Knight (rank 15) before the ability to raze is unlocked.

On an Era rules world you must achieve the rank of Prince (rank 22) before Raze is unlocked.
