starting again

hello there, i was just wondering, i have not been on for quite some time & thought i would come back & see if i could get back into it, as i have a little more time on my hands, but when i downloaded & opened up & logged in, it looks like i have to start from scratch, as in, im now village idiot & i was crown prince +, also had done almost all of research, but looks like i have to start from beginning again, as all my research etc has gone, can someone please advise me??

You probably logged into the wrong world. Your villages are deleted after a long period of inactivity, but all your gold, research, faith points, rank, honour, cards etc. remains.

oh well world 8 is closed now, hmmm what can i do about it now?
