deleting parish buildings and keeping bonuses?

I've been reading several guides that say that if you delete a parish building, the bonus is retained. with the exception of Labourer’s billets, Barracks, Statues, and Supply Depots. Is this true? When I click a fully upgraded Castellan's House and click to delete it, it says "If this building is deleted, the parish will not retain the bonus or the ability that it confers." Is the warning wrong or are the guides out of date? Thanks for the info.

Any building deleted keeps its bonuses at its rank. Except of the buildings you mensioned.

Depends on the Age of the server. Age 1 retains bonuses, Ages 2+ do not.

Capital Building Bonuses - In the Second Age, once a building is deleted from a capital, the capital does NOT retain the bonus from the upgraded building.


In theory ERAs retain bonuses.

Eras
Starting with Europe 4, new worlds will not have the Age system of existing worlds. Instead, the Ages will be replaced by Eras. At their core, they function in much the same way, but their characteristics have been improved based on your feedback. While we have kept some of the gameplay-related changes such as faster units, faster Glory rounds, more honour, etc, the less popular Age-change characteristics have been removed from Eras. For example, Houses and factions are no longer reset when a world transitions between Eras and a capital will keep the bonuses of the buildings even if they are deleted.
