Server/login issues. 11/15/10

I got up this morning and went to start up SK everything went normal the client downloaded a patch or something now I get the Error message " The connection was refused when attempting to contact login.strongholdkingdoms.com." any ideas?

got similar. this time it's "The operation timed out when attemting to contact login.strongholdkingdoms.com" so its supposed to be down globally not just me or any else.
P.s. there's alot of servers and sites falling down for unknown reason this weak, including those famous sites some users may use.

I am trying to open my village, but when I open the Stronghold programme it takes ages and then either opens but not properly then when trying to log in does nothing, or it just says unable to connect to stronghold kingdoms. Any ideas?

*sigh* of course the servers will go down 15 minutes before I'm attacked by a seige camp, with one of my villages only a day old and limited defenses. Not to mention I had played some cards which are totally going to waste now.
