Server Issues Game Day 55 - 28th December

Currently there are problems with the server which mean army and scouting reports aren't received, AI and stashes aren't shown as destroyed/taken on the map and armies/scouts are disappearing on return.

FF have been notified. Please do not post about these problems in the bug forums.

Yes, when the server problems are resolved your troops/scouts will be back in your village as normal.

Hopefully soon, since there seems to be no issues with the AI attacks, when your troops are lost out in no mans land.

easy to blame servers :lol:

Seriously they need better core programmers. It cant be a server issue really after so many days they should had plenty of time to upgrade/install better hardware. Its something else.

I was just wondering, If it is in fact a "server problem" then why is it the exact same problem that has happened throughout testing from what I have been told this issue has been around since alpha 1 now a few weeks ago FF "deployed a more powerful server that should resolve the issues" I think that "server problems" is code for bad code that fails server side and it is easier to blame the machine then the programer. If I built cars and they failed the same way everytime would it be ok for me to say it was a gasoline issue or would you expect it to be fixed or replaced ummm lets ask toyota what happens when they have a malfunction and what they do about it .Oh yeah but this is just a game and it is after all a beta test so I guess they do not have to worry until 9am london time and after they spend some time at the water cooler complaining about made gamers asking them to do the job they are paid for

Since I couldn't scout anything, I decided to do some trading and selling. All of the sudden my village sent out scouts without my intervention... It's like it auto-scouted as though I were logged off... AND it was successful. After the scouts returned, they were still there, so I tried to send them out to other stashes. failed. Then I had no more scouts again. Though it's annoying, I found that behavior amusing.

Yea I tried foraging earlier, don't think it counted though. Now it says there are no scouts at all, though trading and attacking still seems to work.
