If you are trying to have integrity, just go back to what you originally promised and give all age world winners on all age worlds the original prizes....you just keep losing more and more players where you should be gaining players with your LACK of integrity....if you put every age world back to the old prizes you wouldn't keep having these issues as the system would just take care of it for you.Lord Alacrity wrote:Mamakinz wrote:Not even the same thread MiladySkye.
The point is, this is the third time in succession that they've tried this... 'mistake' lark giving the rubbish prize to see if they can get away with it, then players get angry, annoyed. So they back down and say 'oh sorry, mistake, let us investigate and fix this AGAIN!' .... (until the next world closes... mwahahahahahaha! Then we'll rinse and repeat...)
We still have AmericaLatina 1, USA1, World 1, World 2, World 7 that fit the criteria of the Age 5 rule ... so 5 more rounds of this dance...
Unfortunately when we have to create exceptions, this can sometimes lead to difficulties. The idea of grandfathering in worlds was done so as not to disadvantage World 8 which was close to the Final Age. Obviously we do not want to disadvantage long-time active players, but as other posters have noted the original Bronze Prize was exploited, which in turn negatively impacts the community. It is in no one's best interests to flood so many accounts with so many cards for so little effort and contribution to the game and the community. Now, one year later with all of those worlds still in the Fifth Age and the continued confusion, we may re-evaluate this decision. We could potentially announce an end to the grandfathered period after a particular date or perhaps allow accounts to win the original prize only once.
That being said, we will be auditing the Bronze Prize recipients to hopefully identify any accounts which appear to be exploiting the prize.
Our goal in all of this is to ensure the integrity, quality, and balance of the game. We've heard from players upset about the prize being exploited as well as players who are afraid of not getting their deserved reward and we're working to find solutions that satisfy everyone.
How can you be worried about players exploiting your game for 2k card points when players have been exploiting the game for 20x the gain for years?Lord Alacrity wrote:Mamakinz wrote:Not even the same thread MiladySkye.
