left click does not zoom in

left click does not zoom in

Having got a new PC with Windows 10, I find that the screen display is too small. Right click zooms out to make it even smaller, but the left click doesn't zoom in far enough to make the screen comfortable. I have tried changing the display magnification - but with no effect- (so far).
ANy ideas? This is in the map view. Village view shows a lot more detail than before tho the resources tabs at the top appear to be about 6 point font (tiny).
Here in the forum the font size is OK.
