What's happen with archers on defense ?

hi all

i lost every days a villages when i am offline,i put all defense cards as possible,520 troops,1.8 towers,pitch,wall,and balista ,ohh balisata X2 don't make the difference !!!!! but it seems like something,i saw a long time my attacks reports from wolf invasions,and i don't understand why the catapults of the IA don't die quickly .... since the last update,did you had change something ?

i see now,archers in defense shoot in first the archers and pikemens of the ennemies,by the past ,the archers ALWAYS shooted on the ennemies catapults in first ..... that is amazing ....

i think this game is bored now,you had changed all the rules,all the attacks (how can we survive after 5 full attacks with 186 catapults on the same side ? ) , how can we have a chance to survive when we are offline ? defence cards are unnecessary at all ...
