madpro , they will load the last data saved before this guy sent all the attacks
so can be 1 hour before or 24 hours before

about cards ... really good question , cards are linked to account and not to server , i am quite sure a simple rollback don't give back cards played ( i noticed that login/cards server is different from game server ) , so they cangive back our cards , but is easier give nothing or packs cards to all players on global

There is nothing simple about a roll-back. There are 2 many variables involved.
I am fairly certain that someone just spoke out of term with committing to a roll-back and a time as we see.

If it was so simple as you say it would have been fixed already as you mentioned before, but obviously there is much more to it so they are still not ready with doing this.
Makes me wonder really if anything will happen.

Eitherway I am passed that. More important is atm when they are going to put the world back up rather then how, because as it is now nobody knows anything and with a game like this that can be very dangerous.

madpro it took time because they are working on the hack , sensless rollback the server and don't fix the problem that caused it

How'd you know you said the problems were already fixed. Are you speculating or you have more info?

If we are speculating this is what I speculate on:

Person will be banned (ofcourse)
This server (gc1) will possibly (temporary) be protected against a hack like this.
The world will be set up the way it was when it went down, because any simple roll-back is not possible without neglecting other variables.
Nothing else will change.

Then again I am a born sceptic let's hope I am wrong xD

I doubt they will come up with a solution that is pleasing too everyone, a rollback sounds highly suspect to me, and full of "what ifs"

The real problem is when is it going to be opened, the complete and utter lack of care/service too the people that pay their salaries is mindblowing, if I ran my company this way I would be bankrupted in no time.

How about some updates FF, and the excuse of small staff is not valid as it takes 2 minutes to post a notice.
