Interdiction Changes for Rise of the Wolf

• Interdicting will protect a village from Ai Captains.
• Interdiction will be broken by scouting and attacking.
• The base cost for Interdicting a village has been doubled.

Excellent, we can still get honor from Pillage/Ransack attacks without fear of Captain captures while we sleep! (if anyone does sleep)

Though one question, if a village is ID'd, will that also stop auto-scouts when offline. or just prevent manual scouts?

It will stop auto scouting and auto attacking.

ouch, you can't cap a village and get stashes to rebuild it then if you ID it? that's rough. While you are at it, you oughtta check the diplomacy, rarely, if ever works. I have it maxed and nearly 40 attacks before 1 was averted by diplomacy..... that is not what I would call 25%... just saying.

I've got a similar problem...only one of my villages is attacked by the AI, all others are pretty much left alone.

In my parish in Argyll my 2 villages got 5 captain attacks and 7 captain attacks by the pig yesterday. One is heavily damaged because that were 3 breakers with 106 cats each and 2 cleaners with 800 men. Now i tried the interdiction. The next 10 hours I had no captain attacks, but 15 other attacks by the pig there. I was already low on bows and now I`m nearly at 0.

So this ID is not really effective.

What happened there was that some people heavy carded right from the beginning. They were able to grow a lot faster then in regular worlds, because they killed all the rats. Then they took the sheriff seats and have now gold and fast armies. The other people are to slow to get some flags. I tried it with 5 depots and x4 card. Launching lots of attacks I`ve got 2 flags. So there is no teamplay between the sheriffs and the regular players. The regular players have no options against the ai and no working ID. Soon there will be only ffew players remaining.

As a sheriff with a maxed out county I spend most of my flags I raid offering them to allies that may need them.

The county army is spent killing AI that people ask me to kill, or if I go and raid 50k gold from parishes then I'll use it to hit something in my parish.

This revenge of the wolf has been nothing but detrimental we've already seen two of our active players quit and I think more will follow, it does feel like if you don't card, you shouldn't hold a parish never mind a county.

wolf's revenge should have been more like 2 days of rats followed by 2 days of snakes, then 2 days of pigs and 1 day of wolf. FF needs to seriously scale all the attacks based on player rank like siege attacks were scaled. Initial waves should also be small AI villages and then send followup reinforcements to increase their size.
