Anyway after being the thread being derailed by a mod could someone please tell me if they feel the weather could be controlled at will by a dev.

I make no suggestion and never have That they do it in anyway to be evil or affect growth, but I feel they might control server activity with weather.

Just before update the weather seems to be bad, could the overall reason be to manage server traffic.

Just so we are straight on this, i have never thought this was done for evil purposes, never said this in fact I have stated before it would be more to manage traffic if anything.

That's a really well thought insult and it is an insult if you are referring to me, in fact its slightly libelous, because I am a person who thrives on facts.

I have yet to see any factual information from your side of the argument.

The only facts are that since this thread started the weather has been positive, but before that weather was unusually negative, although I am sure you will beg to differ on that and want hard facts and figures. Unfortunatly you got me there as normally when I come into a counter debate with someone I come armed with cold hard facts.

Next time I discuss the weather I will make sure that I have my facts at hand and a nice dataset for you to pick apart.



As for arguing isn't that against forum rules I wouldn't like to think I have been combatant with you.

David and i have argued many times in the past, but the truth is that he is taking his responsabilities seriously and i have to acknowedge that. The weather altho crazy (raining in new mexico:)) is not part of a crazy conspiracy. Its craziest to say that we have castles in USA than bad weather in S.USA. It seems it is based upon an algorithm, that randomly generates weather with >0 . As a feedback, it would be nice to have different weather based on the geo location, but this would create more problems that it would solve. Perhaps on later updates, adding droughts, extremely hot weather, causing also negative effects , but thats smng o think upon. FFis now ocupied with Stonghold Crusader 2 (which btw need more info about, are there going to be new units? new maps, better AI?)
