Hi everyone,

With the launch of our official Turkish forum it should be clear that we are planning to develop and release a Turkish game world for Stronghold Kingdoms in 2013.

To provide support and community management for this new world we are looking for a passionate Online Community Manager. This person must be currently living in Turkey, have an understanding of the game and the personal qualifications necessary to carry out the responsibilities below.

Please Note: This vacancy is for a paid position. The successful applicant will be required to work remotely from Turkey for 20 hours per week.

Job Description

This vacancy is for a paid position. The successful applicant will be required to work remotely from Turkey for 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a strong bond, dialogue and presence with the game community on official forums, external forums and web sites;
• Moderating official forums on a daily basis, responding to player queries, working with volunteer moderators to ensure threads stay on-topic and adhere to our code of conduct;
• Devising inventive community strategies to educate players and improve Firefly Studios’ image within our official forums and in the public domain;
• Building a community for new games from announcement to release;
• Writing and maintaining game support documentation;
• Translating news posts, in-game text and release notes for game updates;
• Dealing with player abuse in a professional manner, both in-game and through our system of support tickets;
• Growing the Stronghold Kingdoms community and profile through contact with external websites and press;
• Growing Stronghold Kingdoms’ audience on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube;
• Supporting marketing and public relations efforts through your familiarity with the game community and awareness of popular opinion;
• Providing marketing with relevant web content that the community is interested in viewing;
• Supporting marketing and the dev team during special events and promotions, spreading word and providing support both in-game and outside in player forums;
• Assisting in the growth of volunteer fan sites;
• Maintaining effective communication with the support teams and availability, to ensure a productive working environment;
• Growing the user base and improving retention for your assigned game world(s);

Qualifications

• Previous experience building and moderating online communities using forums, web sites and social media;
• Excellent interpersonal writing skills and a friendly, professional disposition with the ability to speak to a diverse online audience in English and your native language;
• Superior grammar and spelling ability in your native language;
• The ability to comprehend and communicate technical topics quickly and clearly;
• A passion for online gaming and a basic knowledge of MMO game mechanics, the development process, customer service and the MMO market;
• Time and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities concurrently;
• A creative mindset and ability to find new ways to deliver old or existing material;
• An ability to take the initiative, be proactive and deliver results in-between assigned projects;

Hi all,

We would like to thank *everyone* for their interest in the position of Turkish Online Community Manager at Firefly Studios.
