Well, since most people don't bother making up rather funny stories about their exploits in a video game, so I'd guess it happened to either you, or someone you know!

I'v had a couple noobs send scouts to my villages :p it's kinda funny, since none of them ever make it back

Well, I've never researched castles early on the new worlds, so enemy scouts always make it back from mine...

it's not your castle design that defeats unwanted scouting it's having your walls and towers fully stocked with archers that defeats the scouting effort.

I don't research MILITARY technology on new worlds, rather than just no castles, nothing

I've seen all that happen when it was multi accounts, and they never built a Castle, so it was a constant issue to remove the Enemy House from Parishes.
