House 1 didn't collapse house 9, the inevitability that the second age is coming is what started it, power hungry farmers all joining together to form one boring world where they can farm in peace.

Sadly, wars are won with monks and not military, whoever has the biggest faith pool can win anything, and with house 1 outnumbering us 3 to 1, we never stood a chance with monks.

The second age was very disheartening for us but what actually collapsed house 9 and caused alot of our main fighters to quit which led to chain reactions of factions leaving etc was the new cards, the fact that firefly is making monks even stronger, a x4 monk card? seriously? pretty much most of our fighters quit because of this update, alot of us didn't rely on cards and just lived on the 2 cards a day but now, whoever is willing to invest the money in to the game can do anything, Villages should be easier to raze not harder.

- Vacation mode (up to 30 days of immunity + free faith built)
- The Second Age (Ability to monk counties, Parishes rendered useless military wise)
- New cards (4x monking, 2x tunnelers, x1.8 stone towers, 1.4x troops on castle walls etc)

the last few updates have all weakened the military aspect of the game and strengthened the monk aspect...

I hope everyone has fun in the second age since House 1 plans to regroup again <---- coming from house 1 themselves

Sadly and speaking as an ex h9'er this is not true, our glorious leaders decided to say they were leaving in order to stack faith for the second age throwing the remnants of h9 to the losing war against h1 and blaming it on cards.

1 month of vacation mode and all those months not getting involved in major fighting must have got them shed loads of faith points for the second age.
One of them (now in vacation mode) was bragging how his faith points were in the millions in teamspeak, whilst other people on the front lines were losing villas because they couldn't afford id, oh yeah he sent id where he had an interest, but for the most part he stayed out of wars.
Come the second age I don't doubt for a minute he will have the power of several factions, and you my friend wont get a look in.

So yeah I was a bit peeved over him "leaving", or leaving into vacation mode. Kind of convenient that.

Is anyone really surprised that krogith is leaving people for dead? I mean jesus, he's been one of the most selfish players I've ever had the displeasure of following....

What krogith selfish ?

He's on a island who before h1 invaded never had to id, has 21 villas creating faith, yet to my knowledge he never helped anyone other than opps by sending monks.

I tell a lie he sent some ID to me on the isle of wight a few times, apart from that I can't think of anytime he used his FP.
Started a war against the biggest house in the game and when it came his way he left and went into vacation mode

Nah he's not selfish at all.

Skitty,

would a comparison between Krogith and Kree Gor be reasonable? Both the cause of war with H1, both stay IDed untill they run out of faith then leave their members to deal with the rest.

There are screen shots of Krogith monking his own parish while H1 took out 5 of silvo's villages over a 3 hour period. No one in House 1 would ever let that happen.

Easy to say when H8 is Sweden.

Some of you must have been on vacation mode when things went down, or maybe getting another world mixed up with W5. Making up reasons as to how and why things happened to satisfy your broken ego?

People left House 9 because they were lied to and told things about House 1 that weren't and/or didn't come true.
1) House 1 didn't force anyone to do anything and still doesn't. We work under the umbrella of mutual respect, always have. That's why House 1 was taken over by us (to get away from that) and how we run it to date. As players talked to us and figured out that we weren't the ogres that Krogith painted, they lost faith in Krogith's rambling preaching.
2) House 1 wasn't the push over that Krogith proclaimed. The first strike that was supposed to surprise H1 members and make them quit or switch sides failed miserably. As did the second and third attempts. On top of that House 1 pushed back and started messin' with House 9 players in their back yard, forcing the game to be played in H9 home territory. Something Krogith said wouldn't ever happen, not at all how Krogith said it would go down.
3) Only 1 faction in house 9 displayed excellent form and timing, Braveheart warriors. Everything else came as uncoordinated attacks. Easily countered or defeated. Proof of that is on the map.
4) Krogith's proclaimed support from other houses faded and blew away in the dust. Western Isles and Skye presented a front that he hadn't expected and the complete inability of H15 and H13 to help in any way made it a a one sided war.
5) Krogith saw his top fighters walk away over all the lack of ability and effort put in by the other factions and lack of any real progress. Krogith then went on vacation. Without a leader and without any coordinated fighting ability left, the rest of the house very quickly collapsed.

War continues now with the remaining angry and emotional players moving into house 15 ( I still get mail from some of them in all caps "DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM!!??"). The ones who will fight to the last breath and throw away their friends resources just to get a swipe in to make themselves feel better. The fight is still in their backyard and nowhere else. A completely defensive war with no coordinated offense at all.

Stop trying to revise history. House 1 walked away with another war success in a long string of back to back wars that no one said could be done. House 1 controls all of the king seats something everyone said would stretch players too thin to be able to do. Looks pretty stable to me with it all red and we never even had a goal of controlling the Scottish kingship to begin with. We didn't start the war with House 9, but I am comfortable in saying that we definitely finished it.
