World 5 transitioning to The Second Age Today
World 5 UK will go into The Second Age Today (29th of May 2013)

The Second Age (Age II) is an advanced gameplay world within Stronghold Kingdoms™. Beginning after the Glory Race for a game world reaches its end, this evolution of the world features a faster style of play, new opportunities and fresh challenges. The Second Age is designed to shake up the established order and generate fresh political conflict.

Some of the changes which will affect players in Age II are:

World Reset

[td0]The Glory Race will be reset and all Houses will be re-introduced to the Glory Race with 0 points.[/td0][/tr]
[tr][td0]Factions & Houses[/td0]
[td0]All players will be removed from their factions and all factions removed from their Houses, as well as any alliances.[/td0][/tr]
[tr][td0]Stock Exchanges[/td0]
[td0]All stock exchanges will be cleared of their resources and prices reset.[/td0][/tr]
[tr][td0]Capital Buildings[/td0]
[td0]All capitals buildings will be deleted and their levels reset. Bonuses from deleted buildings will not remain.[/td0][/tr]
[tr][td0]Forum[/td0]
[td0]All capital forums will be cleared of all threads and messages.[/td0][/tr]
[tr][td0]Flags[/td0]
[td0]All capitals will lose their current flags and reset to the default starting number.[/td0][/tr]
[tr][td0]Leadership[/td0]
[td0]Leaders of all capitals will be cleared and their current votes reset.[/td0][/tr]
[tr][td0]Gold[/td0]
[td0]All capitals will lose their gold.[/td0][/tr][/table0]

Gameplay Changes
[tr][td0]Increased number of Factions per House[/td0]
[td0]The maximum number of Factions per House is increased from 12 to 20.[/td0][/tr]
[tr][td0]Increased Troops & Units speed[/td0]
[td0]The speed of all armies and scouts are doubled.[/td0][/tr]
[tr][td0]Increased costs when using Monks [/td0]
[td0]Interdictions and Excommunications now cost double the amount of Faith Points.[/td0][/tr]
[tr][td0]Glory tripled[/td0]
[td0]The amount of Glory rewarded to a House for holding Leadership positions is tripled.[/td0][/tr]
[tr][td0]County Capital influencing[/td0]
[td0]Monks can now be used to influence votes at County Capitals.[/td0][/tr]
[tr][td0]Vote caps[/td0]
[td0]The number of votes for leaders of Counties, Provinces and Countries is now capped at a maximum.[/td0][/tr]
[tr][td0]Capital Building Bonuses[/td0]
[td0]In the Second Age, once a building is deleted from a capital, the capital does NOT retain the bonus from the upgraded building.[/td0][/tr][/table0]


Hall of Heroes

[td0]All members of the winning House at the end of the Glory race will have their names recorded in the Hall of Heroes, which can be viewed at strongholdkingdoms.com.[/td0][/tr][/table0]

Someone forgot to update the Hall of Heroes page perhaps? World 5 is not listed there. :evil:

Do you know how many people I had to backstab to win the first age? and now we aren't even on the Hall of Heroes? Fluffy and I are going to have to shower for weeks to get the stains off our souls.

We are just doing the best we can to win within the games parameters, however I question the mechanics of the house size being being increased even further.

Imo it shuld have been decreased. It seems all firefly is trying to do is speed up the closing of the server at which stage most of us will walk away from shk. So it really makes no sense to me..

But then I remember the wheel spin bribes they gave me and I go back to farming.

Yeah h10 swallowed up all of former h1, 2/3s of h19 and h9.

Seeing that second age ended on Mir 1 so fast. Same could be said here too. Unless somebody contests you guys in the next two months in England.
