So a little while ago i watched a pretty good Middle Ages castle movie called Ironclad, it a group of soldiers who are fighting to defend the castle of Rochester from the tyrannical King John. Apparently its got some historical accuracy but as with all movies there can't be true accuracy the whole way. But it was a pretty good movie all the same. has anyone else seen it?

It seems also at some point this year they are releasing a sequal

So I just finished watching pillars of the earth it was good! It had a lot of similarities with this game with the politics and the use of both monks and armies to influence people's agendas.
Good recommendation DavidSpy
You should watch ironclad and let me know what you think?

i didnt think much of ironclad but i suppose that was because the miss and myself watched it after a concert with plenty of drinks
ill give it a go sober this time hehe...
not really a movie with knights/sieges, but check out the name of the rose. i love that one. a decent book adaption of a monk and his "apprentice" uncovering a murder case in the mid 13th century..its filmed and plays in a really cool looking monastery (if you consider weathered old stone structures cool looking

Yeah, quite a good movie. Very realistic 'effects' but I was wrong to eat while I was watching the movie. Lol
Only disadvantage was the plot. It wasn't that far-fetched.
