Dwarf Fortress. Though I really, really suck at it.

I love generating worlds and reading all the history that it makes for them. But when I play dwarf fort mode my dwarves always die. I still need to learn how to build a good fortress.

I have a friend that only plays adventurer mode. They tell me its really easy to get legendary thrower - you literally throw anything, dead rats, clothes, food, dismembered arms and legs...

My favorite games

Romance of the Three Kingdoms - build up your land, conquer your neighbors and unify China
Dynasty Warriors - Similar to ROTK (above) but you get to fight as a general in the actual battles
Defense of the Ancients (WC3 Custom Map) - which spawned LOL, HON and Dota2
America's Army - First person shooter but hacks ruined this game
Total War Shogun & Rome

I have always enjoyed the build a village, castle and conquer others type of games so when I was introduced to SHK I fell in love with it (win or lose) but I wish we could do something about the inactivity that plagues each world when another one opens.

Dust 514 (free on PS3 but now can't play because of 2GB update and terrible internet crashing at 2%)
SHK (Don't really play anymore but I love it and I use the forum)

Up until this incarnation of Call Of Duty (PC), that was my game of choice. Every second I wasn't at work almost I was on COD. Before that it was Football Manager. Now I only play SHK!
