Moved to General Discussion as I don't think this is a bug report, exactly.

Re: Stronghold Kingdoms on Linux
I attempted a few different ways of running it, I had some success, but not enough success using wine to merit a forum post, as to me, if its not working at 90%, its not worth doing it. Dual boot, and if thats not an option, start looking into salvaging a spare hard drive to install windows on it. Most linux users are by choice, not forced to use it.

Re: Stronghold Kingdoms on Linux
I'm playing SHK in a VBox for about two weeks on the German Map and everything works fine with dankh's config. But because I don't have access to a PC running native Windows and I don't want to install it,so is there already any solution for getting the free cards?
Btw: Using a Win7 guest & 1152*744 resolution (max)

At least on WinXP (don't know about Win7 or Vista), the free cards window is displayed while resizing the game window. This makes it possible to get the free cards by memorizing the position of the "Reveal" button - the button remains clickable even after the window disappears, you just have to know where to click. The same trick works for advanced options in castle view, or in fact for any overlay window that normally doesn't appear.plunker wrote:...so is there already any solution for getting the free cards?
