Stronghold Kingdoms Forums

Is there an IRC or Discord? If not, why the heck not? It's a lot easier for some people to stay in a game if there's an active community blinking away on their desktop rather than a forum they have to go visit. (Like, y'know... Me.) I really kinda like the game, but I need quite a ton of advice, and getting my village destroyed every four or five days is a huge drag.
