Stolen accounts

It is a few monthes i receive thread from different players, from different houses and from different places of the map.
The players are complaining because their accounts are stolen by other players.
The method is take a player, give him importance, make him fill strong and beloved and asking him the account data to "protect him when offline"
In this way, the cheater steal the account of the naive people.
Often, the e-mail address linked with SHK account was created only to sign in the game, so the password is the same.
The thief steal the e-mail address too.
At this point, FF can do really little.
Beware of the player asking your e-mail address too.
Like the ones asking to send something from your e-mail (not in game mail).
Often passwords are really easy to find.
I know i told very banal things but it is happening really often.

Pretty sure he was just talking about random people looking to get easy alt accounts... not FF staff members, but that was my understanding.

The point being that staff won't ask for your password... ever.

So if a player claiming to be staff asks for your password, report him.

David your point is very loud and clear.
But the way they steal the account it is not by simulating to be a staff member.
They convince you to give the account data to "help" you.
Often before steal the account, they tell you to make second accounts.
I told, there is a little FF can do for a person stolen of his account.
I'm not blaming FF here, I'm warning the players who don't already know it.

If another player asks for your game password you should report him (https://support.strongholdkingdoms.com/) or if the query was in an ingame mail thread report the mail using the "report this mail" button found on the right hand side of the mail client.
