You NEED to go back to the Age rules these ERA worlds are killing the game, look at how many are actually playing GC3 barely 3000 and thats being generous, yes the old rules where not perfect and needed some changes but you have gone way to far the era worlds go way to fast people quit constantly because of these new rules come on guys hands up you * up time to put it right

New server-Europe 5 would be nice load with Age rules,if so many players ask for old rules...Last from Europe maps-Euro4 will end soon,time for new Europe server ":)))).But please old rules

The reason for so few players in the GC3 world is due to the extreme difficulty to grow peacefully outside of a house.

Once the teamspeak mobs get a grip on all the house slots the rest are left to huddle as targets in non-house factions.

Let one flag pop up in a parish not in a house and you will be a target for every house player in the general region. With the need for dozens of flags to build anything that has real offensive or defensive value then you can be assured of being hit often once the 2nd daily flag pops up. Eventually you will be cracked open.

Houses should be allowed to have more factions in them. It should be based on total players in the world count as a high percentage of that number. As world populations rise and fall the number of factions allowed in the house should shift.

Certain capital buildings should have much lower flag requirements that do not increase with number count. Specifically barracks and labor camps. That way a steward/etc can at least build a reasonable castle to defend and use his own village troops to feed the capital army. It will be harder that way but still feasible.

For something actually new to be added to the game how about adding research for war dogs to be added for castle defense. Just use the wolves as images and give them a priority like the peasant holes and knights from the keep.

Turret Maker from 10 to 3
Tunnellors Guild from 25 to 6
Ballista Maker from 40 to 9

Church from 40 to 30

Honor costs for attacks are rather complex calculations based on a variety of factors. As I have understood from feedback that I've read, currently the low honor cost of ransack attacks has enabled some players to inflict one-sided devastation against other low ranked players, so we will be looking to curb this.


These changes are still in the development stage, but we hope to release them across all Era worlds in the near future.
I think to expect changes in the next 2 weeks is not worth it. It is very rarely the developers keep their promises. GC3 will end and only then, when already half of the players will throw the game developers will make changes, but it will be too late. The destruction of the Prince who would advise you to do such nonsense in the game? The most interesting thing in this game is war, and you deprive people of it. The knight must decide who will live in the province or not. Make the destruction of a knight or Viscount. Return the interest in the game!

1) Increase the numbers of players that can be in a house.
EU-4, USA-4 and GC-3 all launched with off server political groups that pushed players to Page and lay claim to a "Prestige" Houses, followed by other players in the power block claiming multiple "Sister" Houses. This locks many players out of joining a house. Currently on GC-3 there are 184 factions without a house. These factions are routinely flag raided and bullied by the Prestige/Sister houses. A sad side-effect is that Faction Leaders put House Numbers in their faction names (often without permission of the House Marshall). This only leads to more confusion. Right now on GC-3 there are only 5 or so power blocks, but they are occupying all 20 houses. It would be much better to put all the players in a single power block in a single house. This will free up 15 more houses and allow the other 184 factions a place to call home.

20 Houses x 12 Factions per House x 20 players per house. The first 5 factions to apply automatically gain entry to a House.

This is space for 240 factions. As such on GC-3 on Day 47 this would allow 85% of factions to join a house. Currently a ridiculously small 35% of factions can join a House.
Currently there are 8,107 players on the server. 20Hx12Fx20P would allow for 4,800 players to join a house (59%) instead of the current limit of 2,000 players (25%).

2) Reduce the Flag Cost to build in a parish.
As ERAS take much less time to cycle through the Glory Race than AGES, there is no need to raise the flag cost to construct parish buildings.

CG-3 in on day 47 and already 3 stars into the 1st Glory Race.
USA-4 is on day 208 and already in the 4th ERA
EU-4 is on day 306 and already in the 5th ERA

While the retention of parish building bonuses might have led Firefly to increase the flag cost to slow down parish development, there is no need as ERA servers are going to end so quickly.

3) Lower the rank needed to raze villages to allow more player to participate in wars.

The first major war on GC-3 broke out at day 30. It is currently day 47. As of day 43 there were only 41 ranked at Prince who could raze a village. That is 0.4% of the players on the server. Many players were not able to participate in the war as they did not have open village slots.

On day 43:
0.4% were ranked Prince or higher
0.7% were ranked Duke or higher
1.3% were ranked Marquis or higher
3.0% were ranked Earl or higher
7.1% were ranked Viscount of higher
13.8% were ranked Baron or higher
20.3% were ranked Knight or higher

So even if the rank needed to raze was reset to the original Knight, only 20.3% of player would have that capability. Players that cannot participate in wars feel left out.

57.1% were ranked Alderman or higher and could meaningfully attack a village only if they had an open village slot.

4) Using Monks should cancel peace protection.
There is near universal support for this change.

Still nothing?It is simple allow raze from knight, and make less flags for parish upgrade.Not need months for this.....Global updates can come later

Yes I know the order for ranks, what I meant to say is Raze should be available for players who are Viscount and above because once u are Viscount u can hold a governor seat and I believe u should at least have the ability to remove players from ur land once u are governor.

It's really frustrating when u cannot raze them out,

Also the majority of players, new or old can reach Viscount fairly quickly which will make it more fun for the servers.

If a restriction is required then I'd suggest maybe a limit number of razing allowed per week, this way nobody abuses razing like crazy, especially a player who just won a world and accumulated 100 expert chivalry cards can raze all day everyday. So will need to consider that and maybe make a limit on number of razes per day or per week.

there was talk about the changes in the next couple of weeks. Apparently the developers went out again over the Christmas break. And hope they can not.

Just to update everyone, we currently plan on releasing these changes along with an update to the client within the next week or so.
