It would be way better if you actually stated clearly right now exactly what the new rules will be as up until now you have been very evasive and unclear as to what changes will be made - the original post in this thread is old and therefore we do not know what changes you are referring to at all.

As for locking the thread about prizes when worlds end - it would be a much better look to completely restate the entire policy regarding end of world prizes instead of locking the thread (you will just get more threads opening up anyway). The whole end of world prize thing is just a tad messy.

the game is dead - you attack cancrinite, and you have to wait six months or a year to achieve it, because they're not allowed to develop and accumulate faith. And you can't answer, because the destruction only of the rank of Prince. The game has become unreal miserable and the developers have long abandoned it

Can you post information about ALL the specific changes you will be making? A lot of the issues with the Era ruleset could have been avoided if you would have consulted with the players in the forums prior to your changes.

THIS CHANGES WILL COME WITH NEW SERVER? And more than week,lol,still nothing :(

I suppose that these changes are a start, but they are still not enough to entice me to start playing on an Era world again.

FF needs to take a serious look at how to be more proactive in detecting Multi-account cheating and implement penalties for this type of cheating that actually have some teeth, such as a 6 months account ban on the specific computer that was used to conduct this cheating and loss of ALL the crowns from the main account as well as the multi's. Otherwise these guys will just open yet more accounts and keep defrauding both you at FF, and our player community.

Also the idea that multiple collage students can share a single computer and use it both to do research for their studies and play SHK 16+ hours a day is just ridiculous. If they were so destitute that they needed to share a computer for studies then they really shouldn't be playing SHK on it anyways. This is an OBVIOUIS multi-account cheater!

Until you guys at FF figure out a truly effective means of preventing multi-account cheating then you will CONTINUE to lose most of your core players.

EU-4, USA-4 and GC-3 all launched with off server political groups that pushed players to Page and lay claim to a "Prestige" Houses, followed by other players in the power block claiming multiple "Sister" Houses. Currently there are 8,107 players on the server. 20Hx12Fx20P would allow for 4,800 players to join a house (59%) instead of the current limit of 2,000 players (25%).

FACTION/HOUSE Size is the most critical improvements needed on ERA worlds.

I am sadly disappointed that this was not addressed. Right now there are 243 factions that do not have a house on GC-3 server.

Also, as of today there are 355 players on GC-3 ranked Earl or higher. That is only 4.2 % of the 8,282 players on the server. Less than 1 player in 19 will be able to participate in the next war.

Considering the age of the game world that doesn't sound unreasonable.

While we understand the desire to allow for more factions per house in the early stages of a game world, we also didn't want to disrupt factions and houses and to keep their membership numbers static throughout the life of the game world. As a game world ages, the number of active players inevitably declines, so this needed to be built into the size of the Houses to foster a competitive atmosphere.

Player politics and alliances are always shifting, flag raiding and intimidation have always been a part of the game and players have always found a way to show their allegiance. If the issue is non-aligned, neutral, or new player factions needing a better way to more readily identify themselves, it might be better to explore options for this.

GC-3 is on day 69 and half the factions have been eliminated from the Glory race.

Having less than 1 in 19 players able to participate is very low and leads to apathy on the server, when we want engagement.

If there were 240 player houses the Big player blocks would be consolidated into fewer houses, providing an opportunity for the 247 other factions to form smaller houses and fight smaller skirmishes.

This is what players view as entertainment.

Waiting for everyone to rank up to Prince/Earl and get bored enough to drive the active server population below 1000 is counter-productive. This is the case on most servers now.

Please explain to me the down side of 240 player factions in the first year of a server's life.
