I complete quests but can’t receive the reward

Just new to the game and I do the quests but they won’t come up as completed ? What can I do?

For instance the chain mail quest.... I mailed another player but it won’t come up as completed just says quest still active

Also completed gold horde 1 quest, I click on complete but doesn’t go away it just stays there and won’t complete

You can only have 1 quest ACTIVE at any time. Just by clicking on the quest it will open and you may think it is active.

But if it is not the quest displayed at the top of the screen it is not the active quest

To follow on from PGs comment,

You will need to first select and activate the quest, complete the task, and then claim for a reward.

only one quest can be activated at any one time
