Change when new stewards may delete

Post by Grimwoll »

There is an issue many of my fellow SHK mates wish to bring to the developers attention. It is an issue we believe many other players find frustrating as well.

We have recently experienced several rogue players entering a world where they charter into a parish, monk vote themselves in as steward, and then gold raid, raze, and capture. Often the first thing these players do is delete major buildings and the parish castle. They often target a highly upgraded church, or in the case of ages 4 and onward, the military school.

This is a worldwide game and time zone of players is a factor. One player may be sleeping when another has just finished dinner and starts playing. If a rogue player attacks a world where most players live in a far different time zone they can, and do, wreck havoc.

Since there is little a player can do to increase the rebuilding speed of parish structures, and absolutely nothing can be done to speed up the rebuilding of a parish castle, SHK needs to change this. Limiting building deletes by 10 hours is not a good enough. It requires tremendous time and resources to build and upgrade, so why does SHK allow a new steward to immediately and completely delete a castle or immediate delete a parish building?

Adding a minimum time limit that a new steward must be a resident of a parish before they can delete anything may help, or SHK should find another solution that limits such rogue player activity. Suggestions and comments are welcomed by all.

Or remove the option to delete.

Simply have parishes as a one time hit. Rank up the buildings then the bonus stays in the parish for that age. It would have to be reset on the commencement of a new age as it wouldn't be fair on new players however (as is currently the case).

Sometimes they are players brought in specifically from other worlds to carry out personal vendettas as neutrals.

There should be a wait period, of say 12 hours at the very least before a new steward can delete things such as the castle, or for it to take 6-12 hours to delete each great tower, etc.

Perhaps the developers simply need to play the game the same as everyone else and then they will see the flaws that need to be fixed.
